Illustrating a Christmas book in the summer usually feels a little strange. But this summer in Colorado has been so cold and wet that it almost seemed seasonal. Either way this has been a fun project to work on.This story has a very timeless quality to it. It reads like an old fashioned classic Christmas tale that adults will appreciate as much as the kiddos.
